DIESEL DAY TANK
The 60 lit diesel day tank arrived the other day from Hamish - the stainless man. It is tall 1.2m andsmall in plan 200mm by 300mm so that we see some movement in the sight tube. I plan on the tube to be glass set in a routed wood facia. Glass will not go yellow over time as plastic does. Both the inlet and outlet are in the base with the inlet going up insde the tank and back down to almost the base (to stop frothing). Also put a sump in the base. Will be mounted in the wheel house so as to keep an eye on the fuel. Should last 10 hours or so at 6.5 kts
