CILLS TO WHEELHOUSE
For fixing down the wheelhouse the bottom board was removed and replaced with a hardwood one, rebated along the top to recieve an 18mm ply and a 12 mm one. the cills will be bedded on 4mm of sealant adhesive. Let it cure for a few days then drill for 3/8 copper bolts down through the deck and beams below. These will be torqued up after the sealant has cured- a gasket if you like.
The vertical posts will then be glued and screwed to the cills. These cills also go athwartships when the cabin goes to the bulwarks, and are connected with dovetails.
