HEADER TANK
Installed the diesel header or day tank in the wheelhouse corner complete with its plumbing back down to the motor. It is tall - 1.2m - and holds 60 lit. enough for 10 hours or so. The inlet pipe from a 12v fuel transfer pump enters the bottom goes internally up inside and then back down to 200mm from the bottom to stop 'frothing'. The outlet goesback down to the last filter before the lift pump. There is also a sump with tap to evacuate any water and debris. Planning on a glass sight tube set in a piece of timber - glass will not disscolour like plastic does.
