Work on the sampson posts well on the way ,in fact they are now fastened in.Also in is some tough rubber and canvas curtains to protect all those fancy new ribs.Painting progressing aft .Of interest the paint system is heavey duty JOTUN oil-based greyprimer, then all change to RESENE water based System-one undercoat and 2 top coats one now and one later. Resene water-based enamel is a much improved Acrylic.They shudder if you call it that! Ribs continue in aft part and a new floor is made.Work ing on restoration of aft deck beams, including 3 new ones to replace the ones that were cut in '85 for the accommodation.
