ENGINEROOM DECKBEAMS...
All the deck beams, now fitted in place including trimming beams for hatch. These have been temporarily fastened in place as we have to remove for motor and tanks. We also will fit the ceiling, set 27 mm down onto battens fastened to each side of the beams.6mm ply (prefinished) will be laid with 20mm sound insulation on top before the final 18mm deck.We want this all ready to go once the motor is installed- hopefully to keep clean in the engineroom.
Last job of the day was to prime the beams-smelly job! Not painting the tops due to glueing ply down.
