  1. Gary, I just love the colour scheme in your engine room. Is there any purpose to the use of certain colours?
That sump pump looks as if it could double as a burley pump as well when fishing?
Following your rebuild with interest. keep up the good work.

  3. Gary, I enjoy following your blog. Started one earlier this year, but have failed to get keep it up todate. Tried to document the adventures of my launch Tusk. Should use these stormy nights to do this. You can see some details about my launch here. http://tusklog.blogspot.com/
I looked at doing up an old boat but in the end built Tusk from scratch, an Owen Wooley design, she is a 9.2 metre launch with a Nanni conversion of a Toyota engine. Not fast, just comfortable and seaworthy. Started work mid 2001 and completed October 2004 - not really completed, still doing work on it and will be forever. She is kept at Westhaven and goes where the water is clearest as diving is our primary interest followed by fishing. Yes we plunder!
Keep up the hard work, Mason Bay looks like it is going to be a great cruiser.
    Don
