I have not been up for a while. Days of contiuos rain, so have been on the drawing board. I have a client that wants a lo-power motor launch,10m and to average 3 nm per litre of diesel on a 3cyl 30 hp motor. Capable enough for local passages and even a trip up the Islands. Husband and wife team.
I guess you can figure it out. Helm and passage berths aft. Midship hold, engine room and well deck. Forward in port double berth and ablutions. Max displacement 5tons.
Been working on the flat water numbers and get 6.5 kts at 2 lit /hr - slightly better than the 3 m/l
